Heart of England u3a is a member of the Third Age Trust and runs in accordance with the Objects and Principles of the movement. It is an independently managed, self governing charitable interest group, within the framework of the Trust, and managed by an elected executive committee.
Committee members are trustees of the Group and they must:
+ act in the interests of Heart of England u3a
+ ensure that it operates in a manner which is consistent with the objects and purposes
+ act with care and due diligence and in accordance with legal requirements.

The AGM for 2025 was held on Thursday 2nd October 2025 The Chairman David Haggarty reportd on the activities of the year ended 31st July 2025 The accounts were unanimously approved by members present , and Committee Members for the following year were unanimously elected.
