Heart of England Interest Groups

Our wide range of Interest Groups is listed below, with the day and time they meet. Click on the name of a group to get further information about its activities, meeting arrangements, and how to contact the Group Leader. Scroll down to the buttons below to access different ways to  view group meetings.

Our interest groups are run by their members, and there is no fixed format. Members choose when, where and how to meet, and what their group will do. For example, The Current Affairs Discussion Group might prepare a programme of topics for the year, or the Garden Appreciation Group might plan a series of summer outings. One of the members of the Group acts as a Group Leader.

Meeting places vary according to the size and type of Group. Some small groups meet in a member's home, larger groups hire rooms in a variety of venues in the town. The costs of meetings are shared out between group members.

Members may join any group that is not full, and if you cant find a group to suit your interest, please feel free to set up a new one. Our Groups Coordinator will provide advice and support.

As well as our own groups, you are welcome to visit and join in the activities run by other u3a's in the South Warwickshire area, if there is spare space. A list of the u3a's and the interest groups offered can be found on the Local u3a's page of our website.
